Left ear blocked?

my doc says its cause of the air pressure diff in the tube that connects the ear and nose.
Did anyone face this.was it cured..by medicine or anyother method(yoga??)
its almost 6months now...Left ear blocked?
Do you have any dizziness/vertigo with the ear blockage, or a fever or headache? Or how about facial pain? Sometimes a chronic earache can even be caused by a dental problem. You can have blockage in the outer, middle or inner ear and each has a different treatment. Have you had your sinuses checked? Maybe try an antihistimine or decongestant. Whatever the symptoms, you should ask for a referral from your doc to see an ear, nose and throat specialist. They have more specialized knowledge other than just looking in your ear with an otoscope. Call your doc and tell him you want to see an ENT doc cuz noone should be suffering this long. PS If youre under the age of 16, its possible you may need to have tubes inserted as well. But again, only and ENT MD can make this determination. Good luck
Sounds like your doctor doesn't know cr@p about medicine. Your eustacian tube is blocked from either inflammation, infection, or a growth of some sort. Go to an eyes, ears, and throat specialist...for the first two, usually antibiotics solves it, for the third, surgury is required.
