My little girl cant stop coughing at night and need to know how to make her more comfortable to ease her cough

night time she literally cant stop even after medication as its aparenlty asthma and allergiesMy little girl cant stop coughing at night and need to know how to make her more comfortable to ease her cough
I suggest a hot bath with 1c. of epsom salts dissolved in the water. have her breathe deeply as The steam rises. Afterwards rub her chest with Vic's vapor rub. Place a towel on top of her chest perhaps pinning it to her nightgown. So that the vapors penetrate the chest.
You need to purchase a good quality Air Purfier and have it running 24 hours a day in her bedroom. This is going to take down the allergies and help with the asthma. This is the single most important thing you can do to help your daughter. I would also put a secondary Air Purfier in the other room in your house that she spends the most time in.

My pediatrician always suggested taking my kids in the bathroom and putting the shower on. We would have to stay in there for 20 minutes, inhaling the steam. It always worked.
In case its allergies, you might want to try Zyrtec...it really helped my daughter stop coughing.
I know this is going to sound crazy, rub the bottoms of her feet with Vicks Vapor Rub and put socks on her. There is no explaination why it works, just does.
Give honey in a hot drink before bed time.To relieve fits of coughing due to dryness in the throat, suck a few pepper corns. Check out http://useinfo6.blogspot.com/ for more remedies and information.
