My stomach does a weird pulsing, what is wrong with me?

Recently I've been getting a weird pulsing/contracting(?) towards the middle to left side of my stomach. It's right under my ribs.It doesn't hurt but feels really weird.The only way I can describe it is as a pulsing.It just makes me a little worried it could be something serious.Can anyone please help? Fanta makes me sort of bloated, too, but that might be a coincidence. It might be your prostate(the organ that produces semen). It might just be a knot in your muscle from sports or heavy lifting.

Go talk to your Optometrist. Your son can get contacts at his age...no problem! You can actually put contacts in a 6 month old! Your son will need a RGP (rigid gas permeable) contact lens...this is a hard contact. They are uncomfortable, but give great vision. Again, talk to your Optometrist...they will be the better eye doctor when it comes to contact lenses. Best of Luck!
Eye surgeon? He's too young to have Lasik surgery to correct his near-sightedness. He will have to wear glasses until he's older. In a few years he could get contacts, if he doesn't like wearing glasses. But those are his only options. He can't get Lasik until he's about 18. No reputable eye surgeon will do the procedure on him until he is that age.

If you are out in the sun a lot, you should use high SPF lotions (~30), Olay makes some good ones for your face (they won't clog your pores). You should also wear a sun hat and shirt if out for a prolonged time, as lotions might have limited protection, even with high SPF ratings.
You are lucky if you tan easily. Your skin is pigmented, but doesn't need sunlight - that will only damage with time.
Use an sunblock with an SPF of 25 or greater always.

Ayr makes a sinus wash, get it at pharmacy, usually over the counter. A little gross but works great to clear them out. Also, play around with OTC sinus meds until you find the right one. I find children's chewable Benydrl works great for me. It's half the adult dose so I don't get sleepy but it helps when my ears get clogged. I try to take it before I get exposed to pollen and dust. Hi, now this is a old remedy that might be worth trying.
Mix up some warm saline solution, as in salt and hot water, until the salt dissolves and then allow to cool, as in warm. The idea it to scoop this solution into the palm of your hand and literally 'sniff' it up your nose. I agree it is not pleasant, but it does work.

u can try d saline nasal spray "Nasoclear" mfd by liva healthcare ltd(comes in 15 ml bottle) and chew tulsi leaves everyday it will recover u soon from cold and flu problem. Try using some saline nasal spray. You probably need an antihistimine, like Benadryl, too.
If you can get an Rx, Zyrtec works wonders for allergies.
Only and antihistamine will stop the symptoms.
Shove cotten in your nose... just kidding... You need an antihistamine, but be careful. Many of them, like Benadryl, can make you drowsy. The best one (from personal experience) is Claritin (Loratadine is the generic name).

You should see a doctor. I have had both arms operated on for ulnar nerve, cubital tunnel syndrome. Although I had a lot of other problems, my ring fingers and pinkys were numb. I couldn't touch the inside of my elbow, where your funny bone is. It eventually got so bad, I would wake up at night and couldn't find my arms, they were completely numb. Get it checked out and treated now, before it gets too bad. Good luck

That's a pretty vague question b/c the source of nerve irritation could be anywhere from your wrist all the way up to your brain. Did you hit your elbow or arm on something? Are you taking any meds that affect your nervous system? Do you have any brain issues - eg - trauma, diagnosed cancer? Did you hurt your back in any way?
I'd suggest seeing your primary about this and make sure you give him/her a good history of yourself. Don't leave things out b/c you may think it's irrelevant.

The liquid is what becomes ear "wax." It isn't a waste product exactly, it is important stuff.
If it is drying out, you probably have either tiny scratches inside your ear leaking small amounts of blood into it, or a bacterial infection.
Never, Ever use a solid object to clean your ear. Even Q-tips are a bad idea even tho that is their intended purpose.
Safe cleaning of the ear is done with liquids, usually hydrogen peroxide solutions or warm saline water.
You should make an appointment to have them checked for infection, and get them cleaned at the doctor's office. You may need an ointment to help heal scratches or eliminate a minor infection anyway.

If you have a fine mesh strainer, you could use that. To be sure that you catch any stone that may be expelled (some stones can be as small as a grain of sand), you may try lining the strainer with a coffee filter.
Go back to the hospital and ask them for a strainer. They will give you one. If all else fails you can use a fine mesh sieve but the hospital will give you a strainer if you go back and tell them they forgot to give you one.

I think you should mention the immediate effects. Mention how good it makes you feel and counteract that with how bad a comedown makes you feel. People know the facts - they know ecstasy is illegal and that it is bad from you. If you are more emotive and mention what people see as the benefits of ecstasy they will believe you more when you speak about the negative effects. Otherwise you will sound just like mum and dad. Also i suggest you tell a story about the friend you lost. People dont listen to facts but they do listen to peoples stories.

She definitely could be dehydrated. Our bodies are over 3/4 water, so we need to drink half our body weight in ounces of pure, filtered water. Preferrably not bottled water as most of those are from the tap of which is not to be drank either or even used for cooking. Not juices, coffee, or tea. Distilled water robs us of our iron. Also vegetables have quite a bit of water in them if you do not cook them to death and then drain the water down the sink. If you steam them only do until they are still crunchy as they will still have the nutrients and some water in them.

I'm guessing that this is a case of allergy and fever is the benefician. The swollen lips and white gums are caused by white cells killing the wrong cells, which cause some healthy cells to die. The fever is clearly the result of white cells attacking the wrong targets.

I have been giving blood since I was 17. I am now 70 and still giving. I have never had any of the symptoms you are describing. I rather think yours are caused by nervous tension. Be sure to eat before you go and drink lots of water. And be sure you eat and drink what they have to offer after you give and sit and rest a little while after giving. Don't give up. Your blood is needed!

You need to purchase a good quality Air Purfier and have it running 24 hours a day in her bedroom. This is going to take down the allergies and help with the asthma. When you say "they", are you referring to your parents? Also, does he have severe stomach pain? It could be intestinal blockage, which could be fatal. You could try NON-STIMULANT laxatives. First off, you have said that your face is a yellowish color, is your whole body have a yellow tint?
If not, it could be possible something that you have eaten, sometimes artificial colorly has away of remaining on your lips. Have you drink any kool-aid, or a strawberry drink? Or anything bright red?

My name is Justin, I'm 15 yrs. old my day consists of walking up and down stairs at high school, getting to time on classes, I have a trampoline but have not jumped on it lately, things I think might have happened: I sometimes skip the steps on my porch but haven't done that either lately and during study hall I put my leg under my but or fold them on top of one another or put them under the table and have them set on the seat in front of me while I'm reading. Sounds like you can have some bone spurs possibly in your leg. Or you could be going through growing pains as well. Or even your body is lacking potassium, eat a bannana and see if that helps with the potassium loss. If not keep your leg elevated and treat it as if it were a sprain with ice/heat. You are doing the right thing by taking some anti-inflamatory pills. However, if it doesn't improve with in a day or so it would be wise to seek some medical advise.

Welcome to the world of having TMJ. Your TMJ is the reason your jaw pops. And yes...it is popping out of joint. It will get worse as time goes on and my doc has told me it will eventually lead to arthritis in the jaw which is constantly very painful.
It is likely you are developing temporomandibular joint inflammation from the teeth clenching, or from repetitive chewing (such as gum chewing), so will need to find a solution to the night time problem. The most effective is a night guard made by your dentist to prevent teeth clenching. There are over the counter products you can try, but the fit is not as good as something that is custom made to your mouth.
Try some regular anti-inflammatory medication like naproxen or ibuprofen to try to settle down the current discomfort in the joint.
It is the head of the mandible jumping over the process of the bone posterior to it due to a loose ligament. ( How is that for not using technical language.) If you do not pop it for a long time, maybe it will tighten up. Surgery is possible, but a pain.

Make a doctors appointment. It could be an allergy or stress but if it goes on for awhile then get him looked at. If at any time he says he's having the worst headache of his life call an ambulance and tell them that. That most often is the sign of a brain tumor. It is usually operable and while a scary experience patients often recover just fine. I work with a doctor that had a tumor and brain surgery in his early twenties and is fine now. I'm not trying to scare you, I just want you to be aware. Best plan of action now is to go to doc and get a scan so you both can put your minds at rest. Good luck to you and your hubby.

Don't scrub your scalp hard when washing your hair.
Some scalp problems can be caused by a yeast infection. Use apple cider vinegar (the brown stuff). Pour it on your scalp, cover with a towel or other covering. Let it sit for about 1/2 hour or so, and then wash out with shampoo. Try it 2 or 3 times a week until you see improvement, then as needed after. You might smell like a salad, but it has worked for me, and I have oily, dandruff-prone hair.

Most every antibiotic will drop the effectiveness of the pill quite a bit (both my OB GYN told me and we learned this in my woman's health semester of nursing school). You need to use back up birth control until she has been off the antibiotics for a whole 30 days. It sucks, but it's better then getting preg!

I get something similar to that when I get migraines. I get them maybe once or twice a year. If he's getting them frequently, I might go to a doctor.

There are some things like seizures and psychotic episodes that may be preceded by visualization of things that aren't really there. Sometimes smells or tastes.

Any muscular spasming or charlie horses could be sign of a potassium deficiency. But you cannot take much potassium, or try to self-regulate it with megavitamin as you might C or B12, say. Eat a couple of bananas and a couple of glasses of orange juice a day to try to correct it.
(NOTE: Most potassium vitamins from the pharmacy have a fraction of your daily value... again, it is easy to get a dangerous level of potassium, which can directly effect the heart.)
Take some calcium/magnesium tablets for a week. Cut down on tea, coffee and alcohol. Drink plenty of water.

Put dryer softner sheets in your shoes at night and the smell will go away.
Change your socks frequently.
Don't wear shoes that don't breathe, like patent leather.
My son has this problem. I use Listerene Mint mouthwash after he scrubs his feet in regular soap. The mouthwash kills the germs that cause foot odor. He's really bad, so I also spray his shoes w/deoderant.

I don't know how old you are or what other medical conditions you have, so I can't answer specifically. Leg swelling is generally from fluid retention, which can be from heart failure diabetes insipidus status post brain surgery, (but dependent on where the surgery was,).
General treatments are elevating the legs at a level higher than the heart, which may entail laying on a couch or bed with pillows under the legs, taking a diuretic, or water pill to decrease the amount of body fluds, or increasing activity. Lymph bathes the cells, but has no active transport method and thus falls to the lowest point. Muscle movement pushes the lymph fluid back to where it belongs.
Another scenario is that you are protien deficient. Protien is like a sponge that holds the excess fluid in the veins. When your body protien is low, the fluid leaks into the tissue. So try increasing your protien intake.
In general (and I wish I had more info so I could be more specific) I would say, keep the legs elevated, increase your protien intake and if that doesn't help talk to your doctor bout starting a diuretic, a medicine that decreases body water.

Sounds like you've got a really, stinking problem. Don't know what you can do about the odor, though. Sounds like it's time for "BEANO" or "GAS-X" for prevention. If this doesn't work, then you can always blame it on the cat.

just try taking a quick breath; deep or not doesn't matter. Stopping and taking breath has helped me in the past to calm nerves, but try to make it seem as normal as possible.
stop eating stawberries immediatly they are making you red in the face and no eat tomatows either, i would not eat any red stuff cause it will pool just under the skin and show through. one time this did on me with strawberries and i was picking seeds off my skin for weeks afterwords.

I have fibromyalgia and depression. My one doctor wrote a letter stating that I no longer could do the work my current job entails and I took it to work. My company put me on long term disability (LTD). (Mainly, my ability to learn new things is gone and I am in physical pain. Some days I just have to stay in bed. This makes me a rather unreliable employee for any job.)
However, to complete the company's paperwork so that I can begin getting LTD pay (a part of my original salary) , I need to have each of 4 doctors complete a fill-in-the-blank 2-page form.

The average glass of water is 8 oz of water. Therefore if your bottle has 20 oz, you are getting two and a half glasses. If you drink about 4 bottles a day, taht would be the equivalent of 10 8oz glasses of water, so just go by that. Don't drink 8-10 bottles though. You can die from drinking too much water and I think that would be too much water. Just stick to 3-4 bottles a day.
Yes, when health professionals say a "glass" of water, they mean 8 oz... kind of confusing. More water wouldn't hurt you... that's just the minimum.

Sometimes animals can react very differently than humans in response to medication. What are the factors involved? If the dog is a tea cup that would be a lot worse than say if the dog were a Mastiff. Zocor is very hard on the liver. I would call a 24 hour vet and ask.

What does Zocor do? If it is something harmful, give your dog a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. That will make him/her vomit. Call a vet to get some quick advice. Make the mixture about one swallow of hp followed by a glass or more of water. This is only my opinion. I am not a vet or professional. My fiance is a pharmacist, and she told me if the dog bit a small part of it, it should not hurt him. Zocor is a cholesterol medicine. Therefore, if you dog has such problems, maybe he will benefit from it. J/K. Just keep an eye on him, and he should be alright. Other person who commented has a good point concering the type of dog. If it is a small dog, then it may be more dangerous. If you have apple juice or some other types juices you think your dog will like, it him drink a good amount of it.
My dog ate a whole pill of that on me once when I dropped it, he was fine. But he was also 100 pounds. I doubt it will hurt the dog unless it's a teacup variety. Topamax is an excellent med for migraines. Many experience mild if any of the potential side effects listed. Remember: side effects experience are a VERy individual thing (some experience NONE, while others might experience some eceedingly rare side effect, which nonetheless must be reported in the literature).
One additional "plus" to Topamax, is that many folks experience appetite suppression/weight loss. Not sure if that's something that interests you, but it's certainly been a welcome side effect for many.
Go ahead and start your Topamax. If you experience any intolerable side effects, notify your doc.

I went to see two different gynecologists in same county but different cities within 1 month for EXACT SAME check-up/test(1st trimester pregnancy). Instead of charging the insurance the same or similar amount, one doctor charged $680 while the other doctor charged $130. I would question it. Call both offices and ask exactly what was done and the charge for it and then compare. If they are exactly the same something is wrong and this is why insurance costs are through the roof. I wouldn't put it past any doctor. I've had an ENT charge me $560 for a 5 minute visit and all he did was feel my glands under my throat. I'm in the process of writing a letter and reporting him. I don't think they should get away with it.

Lexapro is an antidepressant and works to regulate brain chemistry. I've been on Lexapro for 3 years now and also Depo shots and never had nightmares. Once I started taking another psych medication, it created nightmares but that is a common side effect from this medication. I would have her track her dreams and discuss with doctor if they become disruptive to her sleep.
If this started happening after the addition of the new drug, then I would suspect the combination are having psychological affects.
I mean, she's on a psychiatric med, and then on hormones...definitely not out of the question.
Also, with my mom, B vitamins give her nightmares, specifically B12.
Is she taking vitamins? If so, that could be her culprit.

Sounds like he has the flu, and he's having a chill. It could be any kind of infection, however. He needs to see a doctor and get some antibiotics if it is a bacterial infection. In the mean time, get plenty of fluids in him and give him tylenol as directed. Don't bundle him up too much. That just keeps the fever from dissipating. Hope he gets better real soon.

Has he tried bathing them in water which has potassium permanganate dissolved in it? It is a dark purple soluble crystalline solid, so don't bathe too long or the feet will turn purple for a while! Sorry it doesn't work that way. Truly there is little if anything you could do to lengthen your big toe. The idea of pulling on it to make it longer goes against physiology and all other aspects of the medical field. There are far worse things those so don't' worry about it too much. If someone takes a close enough look everyone can find something wrong with someone else.

It's likely that you've caused some swelling, which is pressing on a nerve.
I'm all too familiar with the type of pain you're talking about, it gets pretty intense :\

To have a go at treating it yourself, get some anti-inflammatory gel, Feldene gel works wonders.
It shocked me that a gel was able to provide such incredible relief.
By the time you go for the MRI, you'll probably be back to normal again.

My arms are all shaky, it's hard for me to hold stuff, drive, etc. they have been this way all morning and i don't know how to stop it. I'm not stressed or anything. The only thing i can think of is I was drinking last night, not sure if that had anything to do with it.My arms keep shaking?
Drink a lot of water you at least 8 glasses over the next few hours.. you might be dehydrated and your body is craving water.

Any number of things. Is it muscular? You have perhaps strained it by lifting something or lying in a funny position (hands behind your head). Is it sore to touch or are there any lumps - it could be swollen lymph glands - a symptom of Glandular Fever or an infected hair follicle. I could go on like this all day. Best get a doctor to check it out if you are worried.

My best bet would be you got a boil or abscess collection. Is there any swelling or redness? Sometimes the sweat glands or the sebum glands could get clogged up and the sweat or the sebum accumulated and became infected, thus explaining the pain.

In rarer situation, you can get infected lymph nodes that can also presented with pain, swelling and redness. If it is infection, you may need antibiotics or even surgical evacuation of the pus. So, it is best if you seek advice from your doctor.

Girls don't usually stop growing until they are about 16-17 and boys until they are 18. So yes you could still be growing.
It depends on your growth plates on the end of your bones. if they haven't sealed then you will continue to grow until they do.Also look at other family members, their height can give an ideal how much more you can expect to grow.

You will defenitley grow, you still got a few years left on you but arm span wont really determine how much.
Im a male 6 foot 1 and my wing span is 6 foot 4. So it doesnt necessarily mean you will grow, but at the same time at 15 years of age there is no way you are completely done growing yet.

Read the warnings that came with your medicine. If it was a prescription your pharmacist should have given you a sheet of paper describing all possible side effects.
