My dad is sick?

My dad is really sick, he has been sleeping most of the day. Last night he was freezing but the house temperature was just fine. He was warm on the outside but on the inside he said he was freezing. He said his joints are hurting really bad. He seemed to have a high fever and a stuffy nose. What does he have and how can I help him get better?My dad is sick?
Sounds like he has the flu, and he's having a chill. It could be any kind of infection, however. He needs to see a doctor and get some antibiotics if it is a bacterial infection. In the mean time, get plenty of fluids in him and give him tylenol as directed. Don't bundle him up too much. That just keeps the fever from dissipating. Hope he gets better real soon.

offer motrin, a compress for his head (cold)
and make sure he's drinking a lot.
Clear fluids like water, tea, gaterade -
