My son age 6 years old having short eyesight (-11.5) What is the treatment available for him?

I have consulted with the Eye segion and now he is wearing specticles in the point of -10. I would like to have any other solution for it.My son age 6 years old having short eyesight (-11.5) What is the treatment available for him?
Go talk to your Optometrist. Your son can get contacts at his age...no problem! You can actually put contacts in a 6 month old! Your son will need a RGP (rigid gas permeable) contact lens...this is a hard contact. They are uncomfortable, but give great vision. Again, talk to your Optometrist...they will be the better eye doctor when it comes to contact lenses. Best of Luck!
Eye surgeon? He's too young to have Lasik surgery to correct his near-sightedness. He will have to wear glasses until he's older. In a few years he could get contacts, if he doesn't like wearing glasses. But those are his only options. He can't get Lasik until he's about 18. No reputable eye surgeon will do the procedure on him until he is that age.
