My 7-month old daughter has small eyelids and they're covering her pupil.?

Her pediatrician is concerned because she has to raise her whole head up to look at you...because the lids our covering the pupil. Has anyone heard of this before? My 7-month old daughter has small eyelids and they're covering her pupil.?
By your description, it appears that she has bilateral lid ptosis. Meaning her upper lids are too low that they're covering her pupils and she has to assume a classic "chin-up" position to compensate.
The fact that she already uses an anomalous head position means that there is definitely a problem. For some reason, you daughter might not be able to raise her eye lids normally. There are a lot of disease conditions that can cause this kind of symptom and it would be useless to try to diagnose your child without examining her.
It is thus best to see a pediatric ophthalmologist right away, before the bilateral obstruction to her vision affects her developing eyes and the corresponding visual centers in her brain.
I haven't heard of it. Maybe you should get her checked out by a specialist
