If it has been a week, need to go to the doctor. Is he throwing up yet? He will be soon. Did you know eventually you end up throwing up feces. Yes it is true. And being your lil brother, maybe he has swallowed something.

When you say "they", are you referring to your parents? Also, does he have severe stomach pain? It could be intestinal blockage, which could be fatal. You could try NON-STIMULANT laxatives. I emphasize non-stimulant because if it IS bowel/intestinal obstruction, and you take a stimulant laxative, it could cause a LOT of pain. Either way, you need to get him to a doctor.

laxative (of some kind) should be used.as he seen examined by a doctor yet? If he hasn't gone in 24 hours after using the laxative he should see a doctor. Milk o magnesia(M.O.M.) works well in extreme cases and this one is getting there.
Get him to a doctor. A week is too long.
