Las Vegas tap water?

i was just wondering, is is safe to drink the tap water in Las Vegas? Or should I buy bottled water?Las Vegas tap water?
If you are just visiting, you should probably not drink the tap water. Some people feel sick from drinking the water and you wouldn't want to ruin your vacation. Over the years when I have been here I have tried to stay away from the water as much as possible (even the ice in drinks). The water smells and tastes a lot like bleach. But, since I lived here now I have gotten used to the taste and I do not taste it at all. It took me months though.
