Lexapro and cant orgasm HELP!!?

Im 18 and I have been on Lexapro for about over 2 weeks and in this time since i have been on it I cant orgasm at all! I have tried and tried and cant reach an orgasm WHY?? has this happened to anyone else and will this pass or will I never have another Orgasm again while I am on LEXAPRO!! Please help im really scared!!Lexapro and cant orgasm HELP!!?

It's a common side effect of any antidepressants. Many of the side effects go away after you've been on it for 4-6 weeks. Be patient. If after 6 weeks you still can't orgasm, call your doctor and possibly be switched to something else or something to counteract the sexual dysfunction.
There are lots of meds out there that effect your ability to orgasm. I'm not sure what Lexapro is, but I was on a antidepressant once that effected me that way. The doc perscribed Viagra for me (yes, I am a woman) and that worked well. The hangover headache from Viagra is a real downer though. Talk to your doc about this, maybe he/she can prescribe you something that won't effect your sex life. An orgasm is like a seizure, if Lexapro has an anti-seizure ingredient, that could be whats stopping you. Don't put it off,,, Talk to your doc about it.
