Lump by throat normal or no?

i am a girl so i am 99.99999% certain this is not an adams apple.
there is a lump directly under my chin on my neck. does anyone else have this, and do you know if its normal?Lump by throat normal or no?
First, the "Adam's Apple" is the larynx, and women have them, too. They're just not as prominent as in men; although thin women with thin necks may show it more.
Second, that thyroid gland is surrounding the larynx, and is very important to your health, so...

It could be an inflamed thyroid gland so I would have it checked out by a doctor
