Long red pills...what could they be?

I've never taken drugs, so I have no clue about this. Yesterday I went to my sister's 50th birthday party and saw one of my relatives hand the other two long red pills. Both have a history of drug abuse. I'm curious to know what these pills might be. Uppers? I have no clue. Any ideas?Long red pills...what could they be?
Maybe pain killers, darvocet... But I would call a pharmacist and ask... Are there any letters or numbers on the pill?
drugs
Seconal - a downer, depressant, tranquillizer.
Addictive.
You can't tell what a pill is by the color and the shape, that can only tell you what brand it might be... which wouldn't help you much either since lots of perscriptions such as painkillers and anti-phycotics dye their pills red and shape them long.
You it might just be tylenol.
maybe it was just red mike and ikes. they might just like shareing candy.
dayquil yay!
Tylenol 8 hours are long and red...
i think they are blood pressure pillls
Tylenol
They could reds goof balls drugs downers
They could be Trim Spa (diet pill) I use to take them and they are long and Red. They are like the color of a coke can (a little darker) with no writing on them. The link you showed, of what they look like that is what trim spa looks like also. Who knows ?? Good Luck. I hope you find out that it isnt what you expect them to be..
I agree that these pills look like Darvocet, whose makeup is a chemical derivative of methadone and is widely used for pain relief. Dependence may result if it Darvocet is not taken as directed or abused in ways such as taking larger doses than prescribed.
